Recreational Gymnastics

From 6 years old up to groups of 13+. Class schedule
Gymnastics is a sport that focuses on strength, flexibility, speed, endurance and balance. Extremely important and useful for many other activities. During the lessons we work on the beam, bars, mat and the box. Fun games are also regularly played in the lessons.
The recreational athletes, both boys and girls, perform gymnastics with children in the same age category. Gymnastics competitions are held several times a year.
If children have real gymnastics talent, they can be asked for  the selection . Please note: we do not offer boys' gymnastics, aimed at training the specific boys' gymnastics equipment. It is purely recreational gymnastics for both boys and girls. More information in class with the trainer.

Clothing

To reduce the risk of accidents, it is wise to perform gymnastics in a leotard. However, this is not mandatory: tight, comfortable clothing will also suffice
To participate in competitions, it is mandatory to wear a leotard (possibly with shorts).

AK Leotards hasb specially made these leotards, with and without sleeves, for all Virto gymnasts:

They are made of sublimated lycra and finished with many AB stones. There is a model without sleeves and a model with sleeves. The sleeves are made of mesh fabric.

The matching scrunchie is also made of lycra with the same color transition as the leotard.
The suits and scrunchies can be ordered directly via the  AK Leotards website.

NB. the delivery time is approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

For selection gymnasts who participate in KNGU competitions, long-sleeved suits are mandatory. The other gymnasts can choose between the two variants.

* NB! The suits have a large fit and are very stretchy, order one size smaller!
